    		Beaver Dam State Park Campground
    Beaver Dam State Park is found 7 mi (11 km) southwest of Carlinville. This park has sites available for both tents and trailors. All the sites are found in wooded areas, providing shelter for tenants. Visitors have 750 acres (300 ha) of land to do numerous activities on, including hiking, fishing and bird watching. Group camping is available.
