The Rainmaker Campground has roughly 200 permanent sites and 25 temporary sites for campers. Fire pits, picnic tables and flush toilets are standard for each site. The grounds are open 24 hours a day with access after hours through a security gate.
There are two campgrounds at Lake Lou Yeager, one for trailers (the Bicentennial) and a primitive campground for tents. The Bicentennial has 42 sites for trailers and is equipped with water and electricity. The primitive sites only have access to water. Free showers, use of horseshoe pits and restrooms is available to campers. Activities at this lake include fishing, water skiing, bird watching, hiking, swimming and much more.
