    Coffeen Lake

    Visitors of Coffeen Lake can spend time fishing, camping and boating. The lake has numerous fish, including catfish, bass and crappie. There are lots of green spaces and wooded areas for animal and bird watching. It has been a State Fish and Wildlife Area since 1986.

    Lake Pana is located south of the town. It has more than 100 mi (160 km) of shoreline for visitors to explore. Visitors can go hiking on the various nature trails or head to the numerous sightseeing areas found near the lake.

    Lake Decatur is open for boating, sailing and fishing. There is no swimming area, but there are tables and green spaces for picnicking. Water skiing and other water-based activities are permitted on the lake.

    Lake Lou Yaeger
    Lake Lou Yaeger has a mix of water and wilderness for its visitors to explore. Guests can go water skiing, swimming, fishing and boating on the lake. There are two marinas with docks and gasoline available. The park encompasses five picnic areas, a couple of playgrounds, miles of trails and restrooms. A beach house is located near the shore, providing showers, restrooms and a snack bar. There are camping facilities for both trailers and tents at the lake.

    Glen Shoals Lake
    Glen Shoals Lake offers 1,200 acres (485 ha) of water stocked with an array of fish. Picnic areas overlook the lake giving visitors a place to eat an outdoor lunch. There is a boat launch available for people to go fishing on the water. The lake is found 1.5 mi (2 km) north of Hillsboro.

    Sangchris Lake State Park

    Sangchris Lake State Park is just down the road from Springfield, Rochester and Edinburg. This area sits on more than 3,000 acres (1,200 ha) of land, providing visitors with plently of room to hike, picnic, boat and fish. There are miles trails running through the park, allowing horseback riding and snowmobiling in the winter.
